He has 14 years of expertise in aerosol and cloud research. Since 2014 He has been working as a project manager in the ACTRIS ESFRI process and in the H-2020 projects ACTRIS PPP and ACTRIS IMP for the coordination of ACTRIS activities at the European level.

Paolo Laj

He has been involved in the establishment of ACTRIS for more than 20 years. His research focuses on atmospheric composition variability and trends and authored more than 150 scientific papers. He currently serves in the GAW/WMO SSC and in the GCOS AOPC panel.

She has obtained a PhD in Physics in 2020 at the University of Helsinki. As a communication expert, she has been involved in several EC-funded projects such as ACTRIS-PPP, ACTRIS-IMP, ATMO-ACCESS, and RI-URBANS.

Martial Haeffelin

Martial Haeffelin has 25-year experience in atmospheric remote sensing research. He conducts research on cloud physical processes and remote sensing, as well as cloud effects on the solar resource for photovoltaic energy production. He is currently the Deputy Director of Institut Pierre Simon Laplace, in charge of Earth Observations, and acts as scientific director of ACTRIS-FR.
