- regular instrument calibration and intercomparison/ round-robin activities with reference instruments
- regular scientific workshops with NF heads to discuss e.g. new scientific developments

Requirements
✔ occurence in clouds
periodical LWC>0.5 g m-3 at least during two seasons of a year
✔ measurement of the mandatory and at least two specializing variables
mandatory variables: Liquid Water Content (LWC) and droplet effective diameter (Deff)
✔ regular data submission to the ACTRIS data center
✔ enable access for ACTRIS members and external users to the site
