Programme:  The training course focuses on data formatting and submission of atmospheric in situ data to EBAS. The course aims to give data reporters an introduction to the data submission procedures, and NASA Ames 1001 EBAS data format used both in the ACTRIS, EMEP and GAW-WDCA databases. Each partner can bring their own measurement data from 2011, and the main goal is that these are reported to EBAS by the end of the course.

The participants will be trained in the whole process of data preparation; from formatting data in level 0-1-2 to submission of data to the database and the final quality control. See the attached agenda for more information. Instruments covered by the course includes: CPC, S/DMPS, photometers, nephelometer, online and offline GCs, PTR-MS, HPLS and others. Please contact us for any particular needs that should further be integrated.

Accommodation:  You must book the hotel yourself,  we have made block reservations at the following hotels:
If you prefer to stay in another hotel in Lillestrøm or Oslo you must arrange this yourself, and please inform NILU about which hotel you have booked.
Meals:  The course will be a lunch-to-lunch meeting. Those of you who plan to arrive on Tuesday morning: please give us feedback if it is possible to start at 12:30, this can be adjusted if necessary.

A dinner (self payed) will be organised on Tuesday evening. Please contact Ann Mair if you will join the common dinner.
Travel Info:  NILU's headquarter is located at Kjeller, 20 km east of Oslo.

From Gardemoen, Oslo International Airport:
Take the airport train to Lillestrøm station. Be aware that every second train goes directly to Oslo. Check the information for train that stops at Lillestrøm. From there a taxi to NILU at Kjeller.

From Oslo:
Take the train to Lillestrøm. From there take a taxi to NILU at Kjeller. The train schedules can be found at the web site Trafikanten.
