ACTRIS (Aerosols, Clouds, and Trace gases Research InfraStructure Network) is a European Project aiming at integrating European ground-based stations equipped with advanced atmospheric probing instrumentation for aerosols, clouds, and short-lived gas-phase species. ACTRIS will have the essential role to support building of new knowledge as well as policy issues on climate change, air quality, and long-range transport of pollutants.

ACTRIS is an Integrating Activity (I3) project funded under the EU FP7 from 1 April 2011 to 31 March 2015. Read more...

ACTRIS will be succeeded by the EU H2020 project ACTRIS-2 (Aerosols, Clouds, and Trace gases Research InfraStructure) starting 1 May 2015 for a period of four years. The new ACTRIS-2 website will be available shortly!

ACTRIS has submitted on 31 March 2015 a proposal to be listed as world-class European Research Infrastructure (RI) on the next ESFRI roadmap for Research Infrastructures. The proposal is currently being evaluated. The new roadmap will be published early 2016. Read more...
